Frequently Asked Questions about Parking and Electric Vehicle Charging

• Can I park for free at the hotel?

  Yes, as a hotel guest, you can park for free at the hotel.

  Parking is included in a Park, Sleep & Fly package.

  During your visit, the first four hours of parking are free; after that, it costs €2.50 per hour, with a maximum daily rate of €45.

• Is it necessary to reserve a parking space?

  No, it is not possible to reserve a parking space in advance. There is usually plenty of parking available at the hotel. Guests with a Park, Sleep & Fly package may choose a space in P2, P3, P4 or P5. Please do not park in P1; these spaces are reserved for guests staying for up to 24 hours.

• Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?

  Yes, the hotel has 16 charging points for electric cars in the car park. These charging points are located in car park P5.

• How many charging points are available?

  There are 16 charging points available.

• What types of plugs are supported?

  At Hotel Schiphol, we use type F plugs. Do you need a universal adapter? You can purchase one in one of our Food Markets.

• What is the charging capacity (kW) per charging point?

  The maximum charging capacity is 11 kWH.

• What are the rates for charging?

  €0,60 cent per KWH.

• Is there a shuttle service available?

  Yes, our shuttle runs 24/7 according to the timetable. Please visit this page for all the details.

• Is long-term parking available?

  Yes, long-term parking is available as part of a Park, Sleep & Fly package.

  Long-term parking is only available as part of the Park, Sleep & Fly package; otherwise, you will be charged €45 per day.

• What are the conditions for long-term parking?

  Long-term parking is only available in conjunction with a Park, Sleep & Fly package. There are two types of these: a 14-night Park, Sleep & Fly package and a 31-night Park, Sleep & Fly package. Is your holiday longer than 31 days? If so, please mention this in the comments field. For nights exceeding 31 nights, you will be charged an additional €7.50 per day.

  Booking extra days is only possible if you have booked a 31-night Park, Sleep & Fly package. Would you like to park for between 15 and 30 nights? In that case, you must book the 31-night Park, Sleep & Fly package.
